Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales of our high-quality surgical sutures in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical device sales, a strong understanding of the surgical industry, and a proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships. This role requires frequent travel within an assigned territory to meet with healthcare professionals, hospital procurement teams, and surgical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, hospital procurement personnel, and other key decision-makers.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the benefits and applications of our surgical sutures through in-person meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Provide product training and support to hospital staff to ensure proper usage and adoption of our sutures.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and sales best practices.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and submit reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in medical sales, preferably in surgical devices, sutures, or related medical supplies.
  • Strong understanding of the surgical environment and hospital purchasing processes.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 75%).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with hospital GPOs and IDNs.
  • Existing relationships within the surgical or hospital network.
  • Certification or training in medical device sales.
