Position Overview

We’re hiring a Mitigation Technician to assist with water damage restoration and mold remediation projects. This hands-on role involves working with specialized equipment under supervision to ensure properties are restored safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction , pumping, and structural drying
• Assist with mold removal and antimicrobial applications
• Move and protect client contents
• Set up and monitor drying equipment
• Build containment systems (polyethylene enclosures)
• Remove and dispose of debris properly
• Maintain vehicles and restoration equipment
• Follow safety protocols and company standards
• Accurately report time, materials, and equipment used
• Travel and work nights/weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water extraction and pump systems (training provided)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong sense of urgency, professionalism, and positive attitude
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines

Preferred

• Experience with Mitigate and DASH software

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 lbs frequently; assisted lifting for heavier items
• Work in tight spaces and sustain periods of standing, bending, and kneeling
• Use mobile devices for data collection and time tracking
