Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part time (three days per week) Physician Assistant to join our team at our busy Los Altos primary care clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality healthcare to a population of adult and geriatric patients. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and review of symptoms
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapies
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and treatment options
• Partner with exciting longevity and precision medicine vendors
• Expand your procedure skills in cutting edge technologies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and clinic policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license in CA
• Certification from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• At least 3 years of patient care experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in using modern computer-based EMR/EHR systems
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
