The ideal candidate is well-versed in partnering with subcontractors, design partners, and customers to advance construction projects in a safe, organized and timely fashion. They will also effectively identify and monitor project risks on behalf of the company and customer. Our company believes customer service is paramount. This candidate must be a natural leader with the proven ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Project Engineer is primarily responsible for the coordination of construction projects in support of the Superintendents and Project Management team. Tasks may include but not be limited to:

  • RFIs, Submittals, and Change Management including coordination with trade partners, superintendent, and project manager
  • Field Verification of in-progress work, including Quality and Safety inspections
  • Interface with Design Partners and Customers with professional, confident communication including solution-focused issue resolution
  • Schedule review and management, including material procurement per required deadlines
  • Effectively run meetings with project partners
  • Review of design documents for completeness and constructability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (Construction Engineering, Civil/Architectural Engineering Construction Management, or other applicable engineering degree)
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Position may include short term (<6 months) travel assignment
  • Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
