Location: Danville, PA
Facility: Psychiatric facility|Intellectual and Physical disabilities
Shifts: Evenings 1445-2315 (8hrs shifts) 40hrs|wk
Length: 8 weeks Or Per Diem On going| Block Booking

Number of positions: 6
Orientation: Provided (3 day) April 8, 2019

Pay rate:
$48|hr (local)
$25|hr taxed + $25|hr taxed free|housing stipend
*** Must be 50 miles away from permanent residence to qualify for housing stipend

Responsibility
Directs, initiates, and implements a patient care plan in a psychiatric long-term care environment.
Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
Prepares equipment, applies and changes dressings, and monitors patients.
May administer prescribed medications.
Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks
Charge Nurse experienced preferred

Requirements:

Resume with a minimum of 1 year of psych or strong Med|Surg experience
RN - PA license (in good standing)
Current BLS
2- current references (nursing supervisors|charge nurse)
2- step PPD (within the last 12 months)
Current physical (within the last 12 months)
Vaccination - MMR, Varicella, Hep B
PA- Police criminal background check
Must be able to pass background check|urine drug screen
