Safety Manager – Civil Infrastructure

Location: Travelling (TX, OK, AR, LA, MS, AL, and GA)

An established and rapidly growing civil construction group is seeking a Safety Manager to lead, implement, and elevate a company-wide safety program spanning a diverse and active project portfolio across the Southern U.S. This leadership role is vital to maintaining exceptional safety standards and shaping a proactive safety culture across multiple business units and geographic markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and support across 50+ active projects and job sites annually .
• Spearhead a comprehensive Safety Program that enhances compliance and improves safety performance across all employee levels.
• Conduct regular job site audits; develop actionable recommendations to address compliance gaps and safety risks.
• Facilitate targeted safety training and meetings focused on key risk factors and common incident trends.
• Lead root cause analyses following incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Represent the company during OSHA inspections and uphold a track record of zero citations over the past decade.
• Enhance and manage a results-driven safety incentive program that has contributed to a 50%+ reduction in TRIR .
• Serve as the Safety lead across multiple business divisions, including subsidiaries with varying scopes, clients, and regional markets.

Travel & Work Structure:

• This role is not full-time site-based , but requires frequent travel to project sites and regional offices.
• Expected to be present at Corporate HQ in Dallas at least biweekly for leadership meetings and safety coordination.
• Offers flexibility in travel and work location —whether based near Dallas or in other parts of the region, the manager may travel strategically and work remotely as needed.
• Strong self-management, initiative, and field presence are expected—particularly at high-priority or at-risk sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
• OSHA 500/510
• OSHA Train-the-Trainer Certification (preferred but not required)
